Leslye Canton, age 21, of Mesa was arrested by Tempe Police during the course of an investigation and was identified as the suspect in Coach purse thefts.
Between August 3, 2018 and August 9, 2018 Canton removed over $4,000 worth of merchandise from the Coach Store inside the Chandler Fashion Center at 3111 W. Chandler Blvd. Canton entered the store on three separate occasions and committed high-dollar thefts. In each incident, Canton entered the store and looked around before she selected purses from a display table and ran out of the store.
Canton used different hair styles, eyeglasses, and a cap to vary her identity.
