Amber Alert Issued For 2 Phoenix Boys, Mother, Roommate Dead

An Amber Alert has been issued for two boys, Victor Nunez-Coronado, age 5 and Jonathan Nunez-Coronado, age 8. The two boys were reportedly taken from the scene of a double homicide in Phoenix on Saturday morning.

At approximately 4:30 a.m., Phoenix Police officers responded to a home near 33rd Avenue and Van Buren Street and found the boys’ mother, Oralia Nunez, and her roommate, Omar Gonzalez, suffering from gunshot injuries.

Mr. Gonzalez died at the scene, and Ms. Nunez was taken to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.

Police believe the two boys were taken by their biological father, Dimas Coronado Nunez.

Dimas is described as being 5’4″ tall, 180 pounds, with a mustache, brown eyes and brown hair. He occasionally wears glasses.

Dimas might be driving a light green Ford Pickup with a Mexico plate of ZUD-71-64. Police believe Dimas may be attempting to flee to Mexico.
