Convicted Kidnapper, Rapist Arrested By Border Patrol Agents

On Saturday in two separate incidents, Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents arrested two illegal aliens, Jose Adan Olvera-Rojas and Luis Alvarez-Rodriguez with felony convictions.

Agents from the Brian A. Terry Station in Naco arrested 40-year-old Olvera-Rojas. During processing, agents learned he was convicted in 2002 of rape in Marion County, Florida.

Ajo Station agents encountered Alvarez-Rodriguez, a 31-year-old Mexican national who had entered the U.S. illegally west of Arizona’s Port of Lukeville. During processing, agents found he was convicted in 2008 in Maricopa Country of kidnapping and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Both subjects will be processed for criminal immigration violations.
