Former Maricopa County Deputy Arrested For Child Molestation

A former Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputy, 62-year-old Kirk Meisner of Waddell, was arrested on November 28, 2018 on six counts related to sexual abuse and molestation of children. Meisner last worked as a Deputy Sheriff and retired in 2001.

The arrest comes after a year-long investigation involving MCSO’s SVU detectives and the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

On July 9, 2017 deputies responded to a 911 caller reporting that Mr. Meisner had inappropriately touched two minor female victims on multiple occasions, most recently on June 19, 2017.

During a subsequent interview by a dedicated forensic interviewer, both victims disclosed being touched inappropriately multiple times by the suspect.

Following the victim interviews, SVU Detectives obtained additional information from the victim’s parents. The parents explained they had confronted the suspect themselves at which time he made incriminating statements pertaining to the allegations.

A Grand Jury Arrest Warrant had been issued on this case for Kirk Meisner for the following charges:
1 Ct. Molestation of a child C2F
1 Ct. Attempt to commit Molestation of a child C2F
4 Cts. Sexual Abuse C3F DCAC

Kirk Meisner was booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail for all six counts listed above.
