High school football coach and childcare worker charged with child sex exploitation

LAW ENFORCEMENT TASK FORCE ARRESTED THREE MEN FOR TRYING TO LURE CHILDREN FOR SEX

PHOENIX — A grand jury indicted three Arizona men on charges of luring a minor for sexual exploitation and attempted sexual conduct with a minor.

Vincent Ciliberti was a football coach and teacher at Mountain Ridge High School in Glendale, and Mico Alejandro Cano was a Childcare Coordinator at Paradise Valley Unified School District.

A third man, Dakota Reaney, was also indicted. No other information was released about him in a statement from the Arizona Attorney General’s office.

The arrests and indictments were the result of an online investigation, conducted by a task force composed of the Mesa and Tempe police department and Homeland Security Investigations, in cooperation with the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.

The undercover operation, called Operation Mulligan, was conducted from late January through early February, targeting individuals who desired to engage in sex acts with children or who used the internet to lure children for sexual exploitation.The investigation is ongoing.
