The Marana Police Department is investigating an officer involved shooting that occurred in the 7400 block of W Crimson Ridge Drive on Sunday. The suspect was killed.
Officers were responding to a report of “unknown trouble” shortly after 8:00 a.m.
Few details are available, but Marana Police did advise that when the officer arrived at the residence there was an altercation between the suspect and the officer.
According to Marana Police, there was a man and woman in the home, who were both injured. They were taken to the hospital and are in critical condition.
Their injuries were not caused by law enforcement officers.
