Intoxicated Teen Smashes Into Prescott Valley House

Daphne Brown, age 18, was driving a red 2005 Ford Mustang when she lost control of the vehicle and backed into a house near the 4400 Block of North Sheridan Lane in Prescott Valley. Both Brown and her passenger, Erlinda Bristow, age 49, showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol.

Both women were transported to Yavapai Regional Medical Center, according to Prescott Valley Police.

A Prescott Valley Police Officer conducted a Portable Breath Test (PBT) which showed Daphne Brown’s blood alcohol level to be extreme.

According to police, no one from the house, Brown or Bristow was injured.

Brown was cited for Driving while Under the Influence, a misdemeanor; and other Driving while Under the Influence charges. Brown was also charged with Criminal Damage, a felony; and No Driver’s License. Bristow was charged with Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor; a misdemeanor and a civil traffic charge.
