TPD Identifies Driver Killed In West Side Rollover

The Tucson Police Department is investigating a collision that took the life of 24-year-old Melvin Ingram on Tucson’s West Side.

According to the Tucson Police Department (TPD), on May 2, 2019, at approximately 3:00 p.m., TPD officers and members of the Tucson Fire Department were dispatched to the 3000 block of North Fontana Avenue for a report of a serious injury rollover collision involving a single vehicle. Upon arrival, Tucson Fire immediately transported the two occupants of the vehicle, Mr. Ingram and his front seat passenger, to Banner University Medical Center. Shortly after arrival, Mr. Ingram succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The passenger was treated for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
