Sierra Vista man arrested for sexual conduct with a minor

The Sierra Vista Police Department arrested 24-year-old Alexander Leever man for sexual conduct with a minor on Tuesday, May 21.

The relationship between Leever and the 16-year-old juvenile had been going on for a few months according to information received by Sierra Vista Police (SVPD) from a third party on Monday, May 20.

SVPD officers executed a search warrant on Monday, May 20, in the 70 block of West Cargill Place, where Leever resides. Officers discovered several items of evidence in the search.

On Tuesday, May 21, at 3:27 p.m., Leever was taken into custody at his residence and booked into the Cochise County Jail on charges of sexual conduct with a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Leever remains in the Cochise County Jail on a $1,500 bond.
