Sierra Vista Police have arrested a second man, 25-year-old Sierra Vista resident Demondra Heard, who had been sought in connection to a shooting that occurred near the 100 block of El Camino Real on Sunday, May 26.
Sierra Vista resident Kevin Grayson, age 26, was arrested on Wednesday, May 29, for aggravated assault and several drug-related charges.
The SVPD’s Tactical Unit and Special Operations detectives were conducting a follow up investigation to an unrelated incident in the 400 block of South 3rd Street when they came into contact with Heard on Monday.
Heard was arrested at about 9:39 a.m. on Monday, June 3, without incident. He was booked into the Cochise County Jail for misconduct involving weapons/prohibited possessor. He remains in custody on a $50,000 bond.
