Sierra Vista Residents Arrested For Meth Sales

On Monday June 17, 2019, Detectives with the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit (SCU) received information in reference to Methamphetamine sales being conducted at a motel in the 1500 block of E. Fry Blvd., Sierra Vista.

Detectives set up surveillance of the motel and located a room of interest, observing Eric Blakeslee leaving that room on a bicycle.

Detectives attempted to stop Blakeslee near East Fry Blvd. and North Lenzner Avenue who fled from Detectives. After a brief foot pursuit, Blakeslee was taken into custody without incident. Blakeslee was found to have a parole warrant issued for his arrest from the Arizona Department of Corrections. Blakeslee was also found in possession of Methamphetamine, Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.

With the information gathered to this point, Detectives obtained a search warrant for the room of interest at the motel. During the search warrant service, Detectives located Buddy Skowron Sr. and Calisha Schafer in and near the motel room. A search of the room was conducted and Methamphetamine for sale, Marijuana and items consistent with narcotic sales and use was located.

Skowron Sr., 50 years of age from Sierra Vista was arrested and booked into the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office Jail and being held on bond for the following charges;

Possession of a Dangerous Drug
Possession of a Dangerous Drug for Sale
Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (6 Counts)

Blakeslee, 35 years of age from Sierra Vista was arrested and booked into the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office Jail and being held on bond and a parole violation from the Arizona Department of Corrections for the following charges;
