According to the National Weather Service, excessive heat is expected to return today with temperatures around 110-115°F. An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for Wednesday as well.
The Service forecasts that maximum temperature records will be broken on Tuesday and Wednesday for Phoenix.
Tuesday: Forecast – 113°F (Record – 112°F 1986)
Wednesday: Forecast – 115°F (Record 110° 2006)
