The city of Phoenix has opened 28 voting centers for the Special Election for all registered voters who reside in Phoenix to vote on two ballot propositions. These locations, which can be found on Phoenix.gov/Elections, will be open Election Day, Tuesday, August 27, from 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Accessible voting devices that permit voters with disabilities to vote independently will be available at these sites.

Every qualified voter is required to show proof of identity at the polls before receiving a ballot.

The acceptable forms of identification may be found at Phoenix.gov/Elections. Those who do not present acceptable identification may vote a provisional ballot at the polls, but may be required to present acceptable identification to an election official by 5 p.m. on the third business day after the election.

Voted early ballots received in the mail may be dropped off at any voting center location before the polls close at 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Unofficial results will be released by the city after 8 p.m. on election night, Tuesday, August 27.
