Pima County Man Found Guilty Of 2017 Murder

A jury found James Murray Reaves III, guilty of stabbing his former girlfriend and murdering her boyfriend.

According to the Pima County Attorney’s Office, in early morning hours of January 9, 2017, Reaves had discovered his ex-girlfriend was with another man and drove to her house. Reaves entered the house, grabbed two knives from the kitchen, went to the bedroom, and stabbed the man to death. His ex-girlfriend tried to stop Reaves and was stabbed in the process.

Reaves fled the scene and was located two days later in Whetstone, Arizona.
