Bradshaw Mountain Middle School Student Arrested For Terroristic Threats

A thirteen-year-old student at Bradshaw Mountain Middle School is accused of making threats about bringing guns to school and shooting students and teachers on Wednesday, September 25, 2019.

Prescott Valley Police investigated the incident and arrested the juvenile that evening.

The unnamed juvenile was booked at the Yavapai County Juvenile Detention facility on charges of terroristic threats and disrupting an educational facility.

According to Prescott Valley Police, a “terroristic threat is a crime generally involving a threat to commit violence communicated with the intent to terrorize another, to cause evacuation of a building, or to cause serious public inconvenience, in reckless disregard of the risk of causing such terror or inconvenience.”
