Chandler Man Arrested After Threatening Wife With Gun

CHANDLER — Robert Hise is in custody and charged with multiple felonies after Chandler Police conducted an extensive search for him on Thursday in the area of McClintock Drive and the Loop 202 Santan.

According to Chandler Police, Hise, age 54, allegedly chased his wife down a street in Chandler armed with a gun on Thursday afternoon.

The reports of his attack forced temporary lockdowns at Pueblo Middle School and Paloma Elementary. The lockdowns lasted for several hours. Area residents were asked to temporarily shelter in place while officers and SWAT searched the area.

Hise’s wife called 911 around 12:30 p.m. to report that her husband was chasing her down the street with a gun.
