Geiler Nominated To Arizona Game And Fish Commission

PHOENIX — On Thursday, Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey nominated Yavapai County resident, Dr. Todd G. Geiler to the Arizona Game and Fish Commission. His nomination is pending confirmation by the Arizona Senate.

Geiler owns and operates an optometric practice in Prescott.

Geiler is described as a lifelong outdoorsman, who has volunteered his time to get young people more involved in outdoor activities.

Geiler also is a member of the Safari Club International, Arizona Cattle Grower’s Association, Arizona Mule Deer Foundation, Prescott Sportsmen’s Club, Kiwanis Club and more.

According to the Governor’s Office, Geiler attended Prescott High School before receiving an associates degree from Glendale Community College. Between 1984 and 1987, he attended Northern Arizona University for pre-doctoral studies with an emphasis on physics and finance. He later earned a bachelor of visual science and doctorate of optometry from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon.
