TUCSON – A Pima County man, Marcos Alcantar, has been convicted by a jury of child sex crimes. His sentencing is set for March 30, 2020.
Alcantar was found guilty of six counts of sexual conduct with a minor under age 18, and two counts of sexual assault.
According to the Pima County Attorney’s Office, over a two year period from 2014 through 2016, Alcantar sexually abused his adopted daughter, including administering a medication used as a sleep aid and then assaulting her as she slept.
