Tucson Police Investigating Fatal Shooting At Campbell Apartment Complex

TUCSON – The Tucson Police Department is investigating the shooting death of 20-year-old Manuel A. Aguilar at a Tucson apartment complex on February 26, 2020, just after 2:30 a.m.

Officers received several 911 calls reporting shots being fired at the apartment complex located at 6280 S. Campbell Ave. Once on the scene, officers found two males in the parking lot with obvious signs of gunshot trauma. Manual was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The second unidentified male was transported to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to Tucson Police. As officers were gathering information, they were advised that a third man had arrived to Tucson Medical Center with gunshot trauma. The third male sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives do not believe the shooting was a random act and investigators believe an argument occurred between the men before shots were fired.
