GILA COUNTY – A Glendale man, Justin Ott, is dead after falling from a cliff at Workman Creek Falls, north of Roosevelt Lake.
According to the Gila County Sheriff’s Office, on May 23,2020 at approximately 5:08 p.m., the dispatch center received several 911 calls about a man who had fallen near the area of Workman Creek Falls.
Deputies along with detectives from the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau, the Gila County Sheriff’s Office Posse, and Tonto Rim Search and Rescue responded to the scene. With the assistance of the Tonto Rim Search and Rescue Rope Team Mr. Ott was found deceased and was extricated from the bottom of the falls.
