Four Indicted In Fatal Sahuarita Home Invasion

SAHUARITA – Four men have been charged with murder by a grand jury in connection with a fatal home invasion shooting that occurred on January 26, 2019, in Sahuarita.

Manuel Bojorquez, 59, of Eloy died in the shooting that occurred in the 2200 block of E. Sahuarita Road.

A second victim was injured in the shooting.

Arrested suspects have been indicted as follows:

William Anthony Lira, age 28,  of Tucson was indicted for one count of First-Degree murder, five counts of Armed Robbery, and five counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly weapon.

Manuel Robles Monreal Jr., age 25,  of Tucson was indicted for one count of First-Degree murder, five counts of Armed Robbery, and five counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly weapon.

Luis Alberto Martinez, age 28, of Tucson was indicted for one count of First-Degree murder, five counts of Armed Robbery, five counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly weapon, and Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Possessor.

Jorge Luis Lopez, age 29, of Tucson was indicted for one count of First-Degree murder, five counts of Armed Robbery, five counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly weapon, and Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Possessor.

All defendants are currently in custody at the Pima County Jail.
