Arizona Leaders Split Along Party Lines On $2000 “Stimulus” Payments

WASHINGTON DC – Arizona’s congressional delegation split along party lines when the House of Representatives passed a measure to increase stimulus checks to $2,000 on Monday. President Donald Trump called for the measure, which was rejected by Arizona’s republican representatives.

The bill passed with a 275-134 vote and now heads to the Senate where it will likely die.
