1 Dead, 42 Injured In Roll Over Of Tour Bus Headed To Grand Canyon

A tour-bus accident that occurred on Friday, January 22, is under investigation by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

Shortly after 12:00 p.m., the Mohave County Communication Center received multiple calls were received regarding a tour bus, headed to Grand Canyon West had rolled and landed on its side at approximately milepost 5 on Diamond Bar Rd.

The bus, managed by a Las Vegas based company, was carrying forty-eight occupants. One occupant was deceased on scene, two occupants were critically injured and transported to nearby hospitals, seven occupants were transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) via ambulance with less-severe injuries, and thirty-three occupants were transported to KRMC for minor injuries.

Officials have not released the identities of the deceased and injured.
