Phoenix Police are investigating the shooting death of 20-year-old Gloria Zermeno. Vicente Diaz-Vargas has been arrested and booked on a murder charge.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers found Ms. Zermeno suffering from gun shot trauma at a Phoenix business parking lot near 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred just after 1 a.m.
Detectives believe Ms. Zermeno had been shot at random during a fight involving a group of people.
