Although offering incentives to receive medical treatment is considered unethical, the City of Phoenix is offering $100 gift cards to those who COVID-19 vaccinations using its mobile vans.
In order to receive that “gift,” subjects must be fully vaccinated and have received both shots at a mobile vaccine van.
The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) has raised concerns about the ethics of paying people to participate in experiments. The group says that while “it is common to reimburse subjects for expenses and inconvenience, there is debate about how much of an inducement is too much, causing participants to take risks they might otherwise decline. This is especially important when participants are poor.”
NEW: $100 grocery gift cards for adults who get fully vaccinated using our #PHX mobile #COVID19 vans. We are still offering no out-of-pocket testing, too!
Gift cards available while supplies last.
