The Tucson Police Department is mourning the loss of Detective Justin Gilbert, a 15 year veteran with the Department.
Detective Gilbert passed away Friday night due to medical issues while working special duty at the TCC, according Black the Blue.
Detective Gilbert served most recently as a member of the Counter Narcotics Alliance.
