A 27-year-old woman, identified as Crystal Garcia, is dead after a serious crash in Phoenix on January 1.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to the crash scene near 38th Street and Greenway Road around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday. A man driving a black Ford SUV reportedly collided with a red Nissan sedan carrying a man, Ms. Garcia, and three children.
The three children, all boys, were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The adult male driver of the Ford SUV was processed for DUI and released, pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation. The driver has not been identified.
