On Saturday, January 8, at approximately 5:55 p.m., Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies with the Division of Boating Safety responded to a report of a possible drowning in the area of Body Beach on Lake Havasu.
Witnesses said they saw a fully clothed man walked into the water from shore, and never resurfaced.
Deputies arrived, and immediately began searching the water by boat. The man was located deceased in approximately 5 feet of water by deputies.
The investigation of the incident continues. The victim identification is pending next of kin notification.
