Evangelist Alveda King, the daughter of the late civil rights activist Rev. A.D. King, will be the keynote speaker for the Arizona for Life March and Rally being held on Saturday, January 15th, 2022 in Phoenix. This event is free to the public and being organized by the Arizona Life Coalition (ALC).
Ms. King grew up in the civil rights movement led by her uncle, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Joining her will be international television star Karyme Lozano and former ASU Sun Devil and retired NFL player J.D. Hill. 45th President, Donald Trump, will deliver a video message to the crowd as well, before holding a rally of his own later in the evening in Florence, AZ.
“It is such an honor to be given the opportunity to speak in front thousands of people that make up the amazing pro-life community in Arizona. As a mother of six, it truly inspires me to see the continuation of the civil rights movement embodied in the pro-life movement,” said King.
The Arizona for Life March & Rally participants will begin gathering at 10:30 a.m. at 7th Avenue and Washington Street in Downtown Phoenix. There will be a brief address before the march from 11:15-11:30. The march begins along Washington Street at 11:30 a.m. The march will conclude at Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza at 12:30 p.m. which is then followed by the rally with speakers and concludes at 2 p.m.
