The remains of an adult male were found outside a Phoenix home. The body was identified as 44 year-old Maison Whitson who was reported missing earlier this year.
Around 12:30 a.m., Phoenix Police responded to a call for service after a resident located a dead body next to a home near 35th Avenue and Alice Avenue. Phoenix police officers responded to the scene and located the remains of an adult male in advanced stage of decomposition. Homicide detectives responded to the scene and were able to identify the body as 44 year-old Whitson.
Detectives have contacted witnesses and processed the scene. This investigation is remains ongoing at this time.
