At daylight, an adult male found deceased near an apartment complex at 32nd Street and Sheridan Street.
Around 08:30 a.m., Phoenix Police responded to a call for service after a witness located a dead body next to an apartment complex near 32nd Street and Sheridan Street. Phoenix police officers responded to the scene and located the body of an adult male. Homicide detectives responded to the area where they spoke to witnesses and process the crime scene.
During the course of the investigation, detectives learned a shooting occurred around 2:20 a.m. involving the victim and multiple subjects at a strip mall less than a block away. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
