
On March 3, 2022, a three-vehicle collision occurred on State Route 101 at milepost 17, near 75th Avenue, in Glendale. The driver of a tractor-trailer experienced a blowout of his front left tire and lost control, causing the truck to swerve left into a passenger car, which rolled over and was then struck by a minivan.
The impact caused both the car and van to hit the median barrier, with the car coming to rest on its roof and the van stuck on the median wall.
None of the drivers involved in this incident sustained major injuries.
