Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb gave an update on Twitter regarding the health status of a deputy and a suspect shot on the night of March 30.
The video was shot shortly after Sheriff Lamb had visited the hospital.
The deputy “is out of surgery, alert and in good spirits,” reported Lamb.

The deputy was responding to a trespassing call in the Dudleyville area at around 7:00 p.m., when the shootings occurred.
“Turned out the subject had a warrant. At one point, that subject pulled a gun and shot our deputy. Our deputy returned fire, striking the suspect,” said Lamb to Twitter followers.
The suspect, who has not yet been identified, remains hospitalized in stable condition.
