The week before, Governor Doug Ducey visited the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs to send off 9,000 pounds of equipment and supplies to the Ukraine government.
Arizona’s hard-pressed local, county, state and tribal law enforcement agencies contributed to the cause.
Great to see local, county, state and tribal law enforcement agencies come together to donate surplus vests and armor to the people of Ukraine. Everyday citizens are risking their lives, fighting for their freedom, and deserve all the assistance we can give them. 🇺🇦 pic.twitter.com/pWQFbKf92E
