Identity Of Phoenix Restaurant Arson Suspect Sought

Phoenix Police detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who started a fire at a restaurant near 59th Avenue and West McDowell Road.

According to the Department, on Saturday, May 7, 2022 the suspect went inside a restaurant carrying a rolling bag, and inside that bag was a container of gasoline. Before he left the restaurant the suspect poured some of the gas on the floor and lit the gas on fire. Once the fire ignited, he ran away.
