Phoenix Police Investigating Shooting Death Of Man Found On Pedestrian Bridge

Phoenix Police detectives are investigating the shooting death of a man in his late 30’s found discovered on the pedestrian bridge at 11th Avenue and Moreland Street.

Officers were called to the area around 3:30 this morning. When they arrived, they were directed by witnesses to a man who was shot on a pedestrian footbridge that goes over the I-10 Freeway.

Officers provided aid to the man until the fire department arrived. The man was pronounced deceased on scene.

The name of the descendent has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
