Phoenix police have arrested a male juvenile in connection with the shooting death of Hector Matthew Pena-Dominguez. The shooting occurred on July 29th, around 1:30 p.m. in the area of 6800 West Devonshire Avenue that left the 17-year-old Pena-Dominguez dead.
On Friday afternoon, around 1:30, Phoenix police responded to a local hospital after receiving information a male was dropped off with a gunshot injury. Officers on scene began interviewing several people that dropped the victim off. Information was provided to officers that the shooting occurred in the area of 6800 West Devonshire Avenue. Officers located the shooting scene and continued to interview witnesses in the area.
The juvenile male was arrested without incident and booked into the juvenile detention center.
