Although Karrin Taylor Robson was quick congratulate her opponent in the Republican gubernatorial primary, Kari Lake, it took Governor Doug Ducey a day or two to come through.
“As co-chairman of the Republican Governors Association, our organization is already active on the airwaves supporting Kari Lake’s candidacy,” Ducey said in a series of tweets on Saturday.
BUT – he only tweeted that on Saturday after Lake tweeted, “I’m hoping that the governor will come in and get behind us and we’re going to do great things,” on Friday.
