The Gilbert Police Department is seeking information about a shooting at the Sandbar Mexican Grill.
According to the Gilbert Police Department, on August 28, 2022, at about 2:20 a.m., officers responded to a shots fired call for service at the Sandbar Mexican Grill. Witnesses told officers that a large altercation broke out which led to multiple shots being fired in the restaurant parking lot by suspects in a vehicle before they fled the scene.
Officers at the scene were unable to locate any shooting victims, but a short time later, were notified by a local hospital that a 27-year-old male shooting victim with non-life-threatening injuries had been admitted for treatment.
