Phoenix police detectives with the Drug Enforcement Bureau have made the single largest fentanyl bust in Phoenix police history. Francisco Delgado, age 26, and Jose Molina, age 21, have been arrested in connection to the seizure which netted more than one million fentanyl pills.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, detectives used advanced investigative techniques to develop enough information to obtain a search warrant for a home in Avondale, as well as a vehicle belonging to one of the suspects.

On September 21, 2022 members of the Phoenix Police Department’s Special Assignments Unit executed the search warrants. During the search officers located more than one-million fentanyl pills.
Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Maricopa County Jail on a number of felony charges.
