Shooting At Phoenix Neighborhood Park Leaves 3 Juveniles Injured

Three juvenile males have been injured after a shooting near a neighborhood park in the area of 95th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road earlier this afternoon.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, at about 11:22 a.m. on October 16, 2022, officers were called to the area of 95th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road for reports of someone being shot.

Police have learned three teenaged juveniles were involved. Two of the males were witnessed in a dispute with a third individual which escalated into a shooting.

The circumstances leading to the shooting are still being investigated and it is not known if any suspects are outstanding at this time.

Two of the individuals suffered non-life-threatening injuries and the third has suffered critical injuries. All individuals are currently being treated at local hospital’s for their injuries.
