Phoenix Police Detectives Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Phoenix police detectives responded to the area of 4300 North 7th Street to investigate a fatal traffic collision that left an 18-year-old motorcycle driver dead.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, around 3:46 p.m. on November 2, 2022, Phoenix police responded to a call of a vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger car. The young adult male driver of the motorcycle, 18-year-old Ruben Arizaga was traveling North on 7th Street at what witnesses said was a high rate of speed prior to the collision. An adult female driver of a passenger car was making a turn into a private drive when she collided with the motorcycle.  

Mr. Arizaga was ejected from the bike and later pronounced deceased on scene by the Phoenix Fire Department. The driver of the passenger car was evaluated for impairment; however, no indications were seen.
