Peoria Police Arrest Mother And Father Who Abducted Child

Peoria police say a little boy who was abducted by his non-custodial mother, Zachary Kaman-Moose, has been located and is safe.

According to the Peoria Police Department, on November 18, at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of welfare call for service in the area of 8900 W. Peoria Avenue. Officers learned the non-custodial parent, 30-year-old Brittany Roberts, arrived at this location for a supervised visitation with her 18-month-old child, Zachary.

Once the visitation concluded, Roberts fled the area with the child, and another unidentified female who was driving an unknown white truck. Roberts has no parental rights to the 18-month old child as the child is a ward of the State of Arizona.

On Wednesday, at around 5:45 p.m.., Steven Moose and Roberts were located in Tucson, Arizona with Zachary. Steven and Brittany were taken into custody without incident.

Steven and Brittany will be booked for one count each of Abduction of a child from a state agency.

Charges may be added or amended, as this is an ongoing investigation.
