Phoenix police are investigating a homicide that occurred near 2900 West Sweetwater Avenue that left a father dead and his daughter in jail.
Just before 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 officers responded to a call of a stabbing near 2900 West Sweetwater Avenue at a nearby apartment complex. There, officers found Cory Little suffering from a stab wound. He did not survive his injuries. His daughter, identified as Shaqueila Hudson, indicated she had stabbed her father, Cory Little, during an argument.
Investigators responded to take over the investigation. After processing the scene and talking to witnesses, Shaqueila Hudson was booked into jail on one count of manslaughter.
