The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a collision that resulted after a possible medical event.
Phoenix Police officers responded to a call of a vehicle collision around 9:50 p.m. at 19th Avenue and Northern Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle that had crashed into a signal light pole. A woman, later identified as 52-year-old Christina Ebarra, was found unresponsive in the driver’s seat.
Ebarra was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased. It is suspected that Ebarra suffered a medical event prior to the collision.
There were no other vehicles or residents involved in this incident. The investigation remains active.
