3 Arrested In Apache County For Sexual Exploitation, Kidnapping Of Girl

On December 31, 2020 to Springerville Police Department received a report of a runaway juvenile that resulted in three arrests and multiple felony charges.

According to the Apache County Sheriff’s Office, the mother of the runaway was concerned her daughter may have been conversing with an unknown adult on various social media accounts. An immediate investigation led officers to a local hotel. With the assistance of the Apache County Sheriff’s Office and the Eager Police Department, contact was made with the occupants of the hotel room including the daughter.

The occupants of the room where identified as 34-year-old George R. Johnson, 29-year-old Kimberly M. Aldridge, and 74-year-old Leslie A. Johnson all from Tennessee. All three were ultimately placed under arrest and booked into the Apache County jail for the following crimes: sexual exploitation of a minor, aggravated lure of a minor for sexual exploitation, custodial interference, kidnapping, conspiracy, misconduct involving weapons, and facilitation.

The runaway was reunited with her mother.
