Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the discovery of unknown human remains near Seligman this weekend.
According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO), on Sunday afternoon, deputies responded to the report of the discovery of human
remains just north of Seligman. The reporting party located a vehicle and a collapsed tent on an empty parcel near their residence. Upon looking at the tent they discovered the remains, which had been scattered from animal activity.
YSCO say that due to the condition of the remains, positive identification is not available now. Foul play is not suspected at this time.
