Sahuarita Police Department detectives are investigating a suspected murder suicide.
According to the Department, on January 12, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., the Sahuarita Police Department received a 9-1-1 call reporting a homicide in the 1300 block of W. Via Cerro Colorado. Officers responded to the residence and immediately entered the residence. Officers located two
people suffering from obvious signs of trauma. Rural Metro Fire Department also responded and pronounced both individuals deceased at the scene.
Detectives say there is no danger to the public and there are no outstanding suspects.
The Department is not releasing the names and ages of those who were found deceased at this time.
