Phoenix Police Identify Suspect In August 2020 Homicide

Police have identified a suspect accused of shooting and killing a woman in central Phoenix in August of 2020.

The shooting happened on Thursday, August 25 near 24th Street and Van Buren.

Officers arrived and found two women with gunshot wounds.

Both women were taken to hospitals. One of the victims, identified by police as 37-year-old Latoya Davis, died at the hospital from her injuries.

On January 18, police identified a suspect as 44-year-old Turrail Lightfoot, who remains on the loose. A warrant has been issued for his arrest for first-degree murder and aggravated assault.
