Phoenix police detectives are investigating a shooting that left one man is dead and two others hospitalized near 15th Avenue and Van Buren Street.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on February 4, 2023, just before 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a shooting near 1500 West Taylor Street. When officers arrived, they found three men with gunshot wounds. One victim, identified as Manuel Reyes, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Two other men were also transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A fourth victim, an adult female, was not injured during the shooting.
The suspects in this case fled the area before officers arrived.
Homicide detectives believe that a confrontation occurred between the victims and suspects outside of a home. During this confrontation, multiple suspects began shooting at the victims.
